Paulo Dybala, surprise at Roma: with Juventus could be there
The big return to the field as a former, even as a starter, is no longer a pipe dream.
Paulo Dybala starting for Roma against Juventus. That is the suggestion taking shape over the course of Thursday, after the Argentine had long seemed unable to return to the field before 2024. In the meantime, però, he appears fully recovered from the muscle injury that had stopped him against Fiorentina and could therefore return to José Mourinho's disposal at the Allianz Stadium.
According to reports from 'SportMediaset', Dybala is finally well and indeed è back in full form ahead of his Roma’s delicate challenge on the Juventus pitch. In any case, the final decision rests with José Mourinho, who will take it only after Friday’s training sessions, and in particular the finishing session. Should 'la Joya' give sufficient guarantees, then, he could be the one to complete the Giallorossi offensive tandem with Romelu Lukaku.
The injury to the left thigh flexor seemed likely to cause an absence of at least a month for Dybala, who però finished his recovery early. Even at Juventus, however, there is no shortage of good news: Massimiliano Allegri, in fact, should have both Dusan Vlahovic (back from a foot injury) and Federico Chiesa (absent against Frosinone due to a slight patellar tendon problem) available. In case the two do not recover, an additional chance would probably be given to young Yildiz.
