Naples, market

President De Laurentiis has kept his promise and already has the first gift ready: Lazar Samardzic will be a Napoli player. According to Il Mattino, there are only a few minimal details to be resolved to finally close the negotiations with Udinese and the player.

The Serbian-German midfielder is expected to arrive in Naples in the coming hours and be immediately available to Mazzarri for the away match against Torino on Sunday. The agreement with Udinese è approximately 20 million euros, with bonuses also easily attainable for a total amount close to 25 million, a figure already agreed last summer between Udinese and Inter in the negotiation that, unfortunately, did not go through because of disagreements between the Nerazzurri club and the player’s father-procurator.

This time there should be no surprises, so Il Mattino always reports. Since yesterday, Mladen Samardzic, Lazar’s father, has undertaken talks to define the terms of the contract with Napoli: the proposal would be a five-year deal worth 2/2.5 million euros per season. After the sale of Elmas and the probable farewell of Zielinski at the end of the season on a zero-parameter basis, the signing of the Serbian midfielder represents a top priority for the Azzurri midfield. This è has been the decisive push that has inserted the turbo boost in recent times.
