Napoli-Mazzocchi: medical examinations set

As promised by its president Aurelio de Laurentiis, Napoli è literally unleashed on the market. After having practically closed for Lazar Samardzic, as reported by Il Mattino, according to which only the smallest details would be missing for the official announcement, the Neapolitan club has secured another reinforcement.

As reported by Sky Sport, in fact, the Azzurri leadership has reached an agreement with Salernitana for the arrival of Pasquale Mazzocchi. The Granata outfielder will land at the court of coach Mazzarri for a sum of 3 million euros. The former Venice man is expected to arrive in Naples as early as Wednesday to undergo medical examinations and sign a three-and-a-half-year contract until June 30, 2027.

Mazzocchi will be the deputy of captain Di Lorenzo on the right flank, but it cannot be ruled out that the Azzurri coach may employ him on the opposite side as well. So far, the 28-year-old flanker has collected 18 league appearances, making one assist. In addition, Mazzocchi also boasts an appearance with the national team jersey.
