Serie A: fines for Roma, Genoa, Verona, Lazio and Juventus

Fines for five Serie A clubs

The sports judge, following what happened during the 18th day of Serie A, has ordered financial penalties totaling 30 thousand euros against five clubs for the intemperance of some of their fans: the clubs in question are Roma, Genoa, Hellas Verona, Lazio and Juventus, below are amounts and reasons.

Fine of € 12,000.00: to Soc. ROMA for having its supporters, at 30° of the second half, intoned a boorish chorus towards a player of the opposing team; for having also, at the end of the match, thrown a seat in a sector occupied by the supporters of the opposing team causing the slight injury of a spectator; attenuated penalty ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 5,000.00: to Soc. GENOA for having its supporters, at 13° of the first half, lit numerous smoke bombs in their own sector that forced the referee to interrupt the match for about seven minutes; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 5,000.00: to Soc. HELLAS VERONA for having its supporters, during the match, throwing on the field of play two smoke bombs and in the fence numerous small cylindrical plastic containers; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 5,000.00: to Soc. LAZIO for having its supporters, at the 25° of the second half, launched a smoke bomb in the playing area and in the sector occupied by the supporters of the opposing team a small plastic bottle; penalty mitigated ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.

Fine of € 3,000.00: to Soc. JUVENTUS for having its supporters, at € 11° of the first half, throw on the field of play a half-full plastic glass and in the fence a can; attenuated sanction ex art. 29, paragraph 1 lett. b) CGS.
