Oristanio responds to Gendrey: 1-1 draw between Lecce and Cagliari
Lecce-Cagliari 1-1
Saturday's 18 p.m. advance of the 19th day of Serie A ends in a draw. Lecce and Cagliari, in fact, do not go beyond the 1-1 at the 'Via del Mare': to the advantage of the Salentini in the first half with Gendrey, the rossoblù answered with Oristanio in the second half, fixing the match at the final 1-1.
Guests immediately dangerous at the start with Dossena turning just wide on a Nandez corner. The hosts’ response was not long in coming: on 10' Gonzalez engaged Scuffet with a header, five minutes later Oudin hit the post with a left-footed shot from distance. On 31' the Salentini took the lead with Gendrey who beat Scuffet with a header off a corner kick taken by Oudin. Seven minutes later Krstovic gobbled up the double from two steps.
In the second half, the Giallorossi came close to doubling the score on 48' with Gallo kicking wide on a great invitation from Strefezza. Ten minutes later è Kaba to have a chance for 2-0 but his attempt ends up high. At 68' came the redblù’s equalizer: on a Viola free kick from the right, there comes Oristanio at the second post and beats Falcone, who rejects the conclusion when the ball has already crossed the line. Three minutes later the same Falcone saves Lecce with a great save on a Prati right-footer from the edge. D'Aversa throws Piccoli and Almqvist into the fray in the final but the result does not change.
