It’s back to business, Jannik Sinner è ready to return to the court after the winter break: the Azure tennis player’s first 2024 opponent will be Marc Polmans, an Australian of South African descent currently ranked number 116 in the ATP rankings. The 26-year-old tennis player will face the Azure on the first day of the Kooyong Classic, the traditional exhibition tournament held in Melbourne just a few days before the start of the Australian Open.
Jannik Sinner will take the court on Wednesday, Jan. 10 at 11 a.m. Australian time, 1 a.m. in Italy. The South Tyrolean tennis player will test his physical condition just days before the start of the first Slam of the season, which will be played again on concrete and with the same balls.
Sinner è the brightest star of the Kooyong, but there are other top participants such as Holger Rune, Casper Ruud, Karen Khachanov and Andy Murray.
