Atalanta, Gasperini: "Zero penalties? We are not good at diving"

Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini spoke on the eve of the Coppa Italia match against AC Milan. "It is not only Pulisic the one to fear, one could list a number of valuable players, not only among the strikers. I remember a month ago in the league Tomori, who will not be there on Wednesday night, and Giroud who scored for us from a corner kick. At the Coppa Italia after the two finals of the past years we care about it, è the only approachable trophy".

Space for the best, or almost: "Modern soccer is often played on the five substitutions. In attack there is also Muriel who last month solved it with Milan with a heel, then there’è Scamacca who always has a few hatchet jobs and needs continuity".

The coach of the Orobici jokingly commented on the fact that they have yet to receive any penalties in Serie A: "The'last one è last season, in the 8-2 with Salernitana. We don&#39t have that many episodes to claim but given how much we go for penalties then we may have had at least a dozen in the first leg. We are not very good at diving inside the area and highlighting certain episodes that are becoming certain penalties".

Team condition: "Kolasinac and De Ketelaere are better than we thought. I think they are recoverable: if they are summoned in the morning, it means they are well".
