The full-score march of Allianz Vero Volleyball Milano continued in the fifth day of Group A of the Women’s Champions League. Paola Egonu and her teammates beat the Serbs of Jedinstvo Stara Pazova 3-0 on the road.
25-14 25-16 25-13 were the partial scores in favor of Gaspari’s girls who on the last day will face at home Vakifbank of Istanbul, already beaten 3-1 in the first leg.
In a Group B match, Scandicci also won with the Bulgarian Maritsa Plovdiv 3-0 away. Again the scores of the partials were clear: 25-20 25-14 25-16.
The Tuscans are also on full points and they too will play for first place with the Hungarians of Eczacibasi, whom they beat 3-1 in the first leg at home.
