Djed Spence è a new Genoa player. The English defender arrives on loan with right of redemption, as part of the negotiation that brought Radu Dragusin to Tottenham. To make official the reinforcement in defense è was the same club rossoblù, through a statement published on its official website.

"Djed Spence è a new player of Genoa. The English defender, born in London on 09/08/2000, arrives from Tottenham Hotspur on a temporary basis with an option to redeem – reads the note issued by the Ligurian club -. Raised in the Fulham youth sector, Spence has worn the shirts of Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest, Rennes, Leeds and Tottenham. He boasts 6 appearances with England’s Under-21 national team".

A right full-back born in 2000, he played the first part of the season on loan at Leeds in the Championship, where he collected only seven appearances, due to a knee collateral injury suffered during a training session in midà September. An injury, incidentally, similar to the one that had not allowed him to take part in last summer s European Under-21 Championships.
