The words of Federica Brignone and Sofia Goggia after the super-G in Altenmarkt

.

It's a Federica Brignone with some regrets the one who presents herself to the microphones of Rai Sport after her fourth place in the super-G in Altenmarkt: "I really felt myself slowing down. I caught a bounce where è Sofia slipped and I couldn’t be active and keep the speed. In fact, I wasnèt skiing anymore. I should have been faster at the top, becauseé under the Huetter must have done something outstanding".

"The design was similar to that of two years ago, but the slope and snow were much easier. It was to be dared much more; but there’was a few little marks and I couldn’t go as straight as I wanted to. In the downhill test I was able to do all the lines correctly, and I was able to let it run. I’m on the right track but it has to come from everything I did in the test" concluded the skier from Valle d’Aosta.

Sofia Goggia è left the slope because of an’excessive inclination in the final section: "Already from the first gate I struggled to turn my skis and I felt that I was not fast. Maybe I overdid the inclines. It was a course with many angles and I was not able to express myself at my best technically. in the descent you start from the’top and there’è immediately a schuss, the snow è easy, but you will have toà ski well".
