Roma: José Mourinho in tears thanks fans

Morning of strong emotions for José Mourinho in Trigoria. The Portuguese coach, who has just been exonerated by Roma, greeted the club employees one by one. Outside the sports center there is no tense atmosphere at the moment, although many fans on social media attacked the Friedkins and some leaflets of protest against the Giallorossi management were thrown on the square.

Mourinho in tears hugged the employees along with members of his staff, and on leaving Trigoria visibly moved he also thanked the fans who rushed to greet him: "Thank you for these two years". The Special One made no statements.

In his place è Daniele De Rossi is arriving: the agreement è has already been found, it is a six-month contract until next June with the former Azzurro and former Roma captain.

Detained since February 2023 after his exoneration as Spal coach, De Rossi will be evaluated in the coming months and possibly confirmed if he can turn around the Giallorossi team, currently five points away from the Champions League zone.
