Stefano Sturaro could return to play in Italy very soon: the 33-year-old former, among others, of Juventus and Genoa, è in fact, a player released from Tuesday, after the official termination of the contract that bound him to Karagumruk, a club that plays in the top Turkish division, the Super Lig.

"The contract of footballer Stefano Sturaro è has been terminated in a consensual manner – reads the note circulated, Tuesday evening, through the official channels of Karagumruk -.

We thank him for all his efforts while playing for our club and wish him all the best for the continuation of his football career".

The 33-year-old had arrived in the Turkish reality last summer after two consecutive seasons at Genoa. The next destination is not yet known, although for 'Sky Sport' the footballer would already be at the details with Catania, a club currently engaged in the Group C of Serie C and looking for reinforcements with the aim of improving its ranking.

Sturaro would therefore be close to returning to Italy after his second, so far, experience abroad: in addition to the shirts of Modena, Genoa, Juventus and Hellas Verona, in fact, the San Remo midfielder was part for the first half of the 2018/19 season of the Sporting Lisbon squad, without, however, ever seeing the field.
