Inter Milan, Stefano Sensi to say goodbye: outgoing deal unblocked
From England the move that unlocks Sensi transfer
The roads of Inter and Stefano Sensi are about to separate: the midfielder is getting closer to Leicester City, which on Friday freed up space in its squad for his arrival, effectively returning Cesare Casadei to Chelsea, a club that announced in the same hours the return of the Under-20 World Cup runner-up, who grew up in Inter.
"Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei è has been recalled from loan at Leicester City – reads the website of the 'Blues' -. Casadei has collected 25 appearances in all competitions with the Foxes this season and scored three goals. The 21-year-old è arrived at the Blues in August 2022 from Inter Milan and was part of the first-team squad (of Chelsea, ed.) that traveled to the United States for pre-season last summer".
The move, therefore, unblocks the operation related to the transfer of Sensi, who was expressly requested by the Foxes’ coach Enzo Maresca. With him, the coach from Salerno wants to continue the race toward the return to the Premier League of the club that last year sadly closed an unforgettable cycle with a (sportingly) dramatic relegation.
As for the figures related to the deal, Sensi will move to Leicester City in exchange for about two million euros, as reported by 'Tmw': the fluctuation of the figure will depend on the midfielder’s performance in terms of goals and assists and the Foxes’ final league result. For the 1995 class will beà the first experience in a foreign league.
