Official: Dani Silva and Reda Belahyane are two new players of Hellas Verona
Hellas Verona strikes two more incoming blows. The Verona-based club, in fact, through a statement on its official channels, announced the purchases of Dani Silva and Reda Belahyane, respectively from Vitória Sport Clube and Nice, who will reinforce Marco Baroni’s midfield. On the outgoing side, on the other hand, in the next few hours, should come the official announcement of the transfer of Milan Djuric to Monza, who has already undergone medical examinations with his new club.

Born in Beja, in the Alentejo region, Daniel Filipe Bandeira e Silva, aka ‘Dani Silva’, began his footballing career in the Youth Sector of Benfica, in 2009. He continued his growth at Belenense and stayed at the Lisbon-based club for a year before moving to Vitoria Setubal. The midfielder remained at the green-and-white team for five seasons, until 2018 when he moved to Vitória Sport Clube. After playing the 2018/19 season in the Liga Revelação, the Portuguese league reserved for the Under-23 category, Dani Silva began playing his first matches with Vitoria Sport Clube’s B formation starting in the 2019/20 season. In three seasons he plays a total of 44 appearances and two goals.
The 2021/22 season è that of his landing in the first team, and on May 6, 2022, during the match against Boavista drawn 1-1, his debut in the Primeira Liga also arrived. In the following season, there are 30 league appearances, topped with 1 goal scored, while in the current season, Dani Silva plays in 16 matches, again scoring a goal. The Portuguese midfielder also boasts several national team appearances, from the’Under 18 to the’Under 21.

Born in Aubervilliers, in the Île-de-France region, on June 1, 2004, Belahyane took his first footballing steps in four clubs: Olympique Pantin, Aubervilliers, Red Star and Montfermeil. In 2019 came the call from Nice and Belahyane moved to the French Riviera. After being attached to the club’s Youth Sector, in the 2021/22 season he plays with Nice B, the second team of the French formation, and in the Championnat National 3 championship he takes the field on 24 occasions scoring 1 goal. The following season, 2022/23, in addition to 11 appearances and 2 goals scored with the Nice B jersey, Belahyane was called up by the first team and by the end of the season he played 4 games in Ligue 1 and 2 in the Conference League. His debut match in the French top league è against Auxerre, a match that ended in a draw with a 1-1 result.
In the current league, with Nice, he plays one game in the league, against Rennes, and one game in the French Cup, again against’Auxerre. Belahyane also boasts 5 appearances with the French Under 18 national team.
