Series C does not forget Memorial Day
Series C and Memorial Day
“If understanding è impossible, knowing è necessary”, with these words of Primo Levi the Lega Pro celebrates Holocaust Remembrance Day in memory of the victims of the Holocaust. The message will appear on the led lights on all Serie C NOW pitches, during the league matches to be played from today until January 29, 2024, at four moments: at the starting whistle, at minute 27 of the first half and, finally, on two occasions in the second half.
The activities will also involve the pre-match phase, at the teams’ entrance to the field, and at halftime, when the stadium speaker will read the following message:“All Lega Pro clubs stand against all forms of hatred, violence and racism in remembrance of Holocaust Memorial Day, which occurs every January 27. If understanding è impossible, knowing è necessary”.
The commemoration will not be limited to activities in the Serie C NOW stadiums, but è planned to launch a dedicated social campaign. The entire Pro League, remembering the atrocities of the Shoah, repudiates any act of aggression and will always be at the forefront of the battle against racism.
