Udinese, Gabriele Cioffi raises voice: “I don’t understand Var”
Along with some self-criticism, there is no shortage of reasons for anger.
Gabriele Cioffi disappointed after his Udinese team’s loss in Bergamo, on the field of Atalanta. But the Juventus coach, in addition to admitting that in some moments his team should have behaved in a different way than what was seen at the Gewiss Stadium, has è joined the list of Serie A coaches polemic about some recent refereeing decisions.
"Against Sassuolo we were left in ten for a similar intervention,‖ Cioffi told 'DAZN' in reference to Pasalic’s missed sending off.‖ Back then they won 2-0 and then we drew 2-2, I would have been curious to see Atalanta’s reaction in numerical inferiority. This episode affected the whole game, and with all due respect to referees I don't understand when Var should intervene. We need uniformity'".
Cioffi also è però dwelled on other episodes, which in this case concerned his Udinese: " We created chances, without però exploiting them. And if a team like Atalanta concedes something to you, you have to take advantage of it. We then conceded the first goal from throw-ins, and we cannot afford that. The second one, which è came from a throw-in, then definitely cut our legs".
