C'è Fiorentina on Albert Gudmundsson

That Albert Gudmundsson is tickling the fancy of several Serie A clubs is nothing new, but until now there had been talk of contacts (with Napoli and Juventus, among others) leading to a transfer next summer. A very few days before the conclusion of the winter market è però came news to say the least unsettling for Genoa fans: Fiorentina would in fact move to immediately have the Icelandic striker.

According to a report by 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', in fact, the purple club has every intention of anticipating the other suitors by trying to convince Genoa to give up its striker: to do so, it is willing to include M'Bala Nzola in the negotiation, adding to the value of the player a sum of money that would bring the operation, as a whole, closer to the 30 million requested by the Grifone.

The negotiation is not è however, simple, also because Genoa è itself engaged in a negotiation, in this case incoming, to get to Vitinha, Portuguese striker of Olympique Marseille. Of time margin there is n'è forè very little: the calciomercato will closeà at 20 pm on February 1°, after whiché we can&e only reason in a summer perspective.

Gudmundsson, class 1997, è at Genoa since January 2022. He has previously worn the jerseys of KR Reykjavik (Iceland), PSV and AZ Alkmaar (also in the respective reserve teams of the two Dutch clubs). He is also one of the cornerstones of the Icelandic national team, for which he has played 34 games with 6 goals to his credit.
