Pasquale Marino outspoken about Bari’s market
Pasquale Marino is not hiding
Rebounding from only one win in their last six league outings, Bari faces the away match in Palermo (match scheduled for Friday night) with four points behind the playoff zone and three ahead of the playout zone. At the press conference to introduce the match, reporters asked coach Pasquale Marino if there will be any interventions at the market level, in these last hours available to the managers.
"To complete the roster, we would need a left fullback,” Marino said.
Beyond that, it is our duty to think about the Palermo match, I do not expect anything from the market because, unless there are important bargains, it is difficult to find in the last day players already ready for our needs.
Midfielder Karlo Lulic and strikers Yayah Kallon and George Puscas arrived in the winter session: "Certainly the new arrivals have strengthened the advanced department,” explained the Bari coach, “unfortunately, we are in a points deficit. We cannot always look back, però, the boys are demanding of themselves and know what they have to do".
In the first 22 days of the championship, Bari has collected 5 wins, 12 draws and 5 losses. The Galletti's 2024 gave them a win immediately, last Jan. 13 against Ternana (3-1, goals by Ricci, Nasti and Dorval), then a 2-2 draw against Ascoli on the 21st (scored by Sibilli on a penalty and Edjouma), then the knockout against Reggiana on the 27th (0-2 at the San Nicola).
