Ralf Schumacher warns Mercedes
The words of Ralf Schumacher
Ralf Schumacher spoke to the DPA agency about Lewis Hamilton and George Russell: "Mercedes must get back on track as soon as possible, there’s no doubt. If not, it would mean that they no longer know how to build a’car capable of winning".
"This would be fatal for a brand like Mercedes and its successes in recent years – Michael’s brother pointed out – It would be very important for F1 to have a strong Mercedes in front, but Red Bull and Verstappen will continue to dominate. Indeed, they will have something surprising in store that will amaze some’ people".
Toto Wolff and Mercedes meanwhile are relaunching. The Austrian manager, team principal of the Brackley stable’s years of dominance, is also its è shareholder. Despite this, he does not intend to give up his executive role on the track and guidance from the pit wall to Lewis Hamilton and George Russell. He himself, in fact, has made official his own extension in the role that has made him one of the best-known faces in contemporary Formula 1.
