Torino, official arrival of a defender on loan

Torino on its official website announced the arrival on loan, from Salernitana, with right of redemption, of Matteo Lovato, who will be 24 years old next February 14. Here is the text of the statement published by the granata club.

"Torino Football Club è pleased to announce that it has acquired from Unione Sportiva Salernitana 1919, on a temporary basis with an option to outright purchase, the right to the sports performance of the player Matteo Lovato".

“Lovato è was born in Monselice on February 14, 2000. He grew up footballingly in the nurseries of Padova and Genoa, with the Veneti he made his debut in professional soccer during the 2019-'20 season. In January 2020 he was bought by Verona, with Ivan Juric on the bench, which made him debut in Serie A on July 18 in the match against Atalanta”.

“It is precisely the Nerazzurri that will become his new team, starting in summer 2021: with the Bergamaschi he plays six months, during which he makes his Champions League debut against Manchester United. After a brief spell on loan at Cagliari, from the 2022-23 season he wears the Salernitana jersey (32 appearances). For him also 15 games and a goal with the National Under-21” jersey.
