Frittelli takes Bahrain Championship

Impresa for Dylan Frittelli. The 33-year-old South African won the Bahrain Championship that was held on the lawns of the Royal Golf Club. Frittelli ended his effort with a total of 275 strokes (67 68 69 71, -13) and thus è put 390,779 euros in his pocket against a total prize pool of 2,300,000.

Second place for another South African, Zander Lombard, tied with Sweden’s Jesper Svensson: they finished the course with 277 strokes (-11). Fourth place for another South African, Ockie Strydom: 279 strokes (-9) for the Kempton Park native.

Filippo Celli è was the best among the eight Italians competing. The Roman, 23rd with 284 (70 70 73 71, -4), was ahead of Matteo Manassero, 35th with 286 (69 73 72 72, -2), Andrea Pavan, 48th with 288 (72 69 75 72, par), and Lorenzo Scalise, 70th with 295 (73 68 75 79, +7).
