Marc Marquez’s words make people discuss

The first two days of testing in Sepang showed a Marc Marquez far from the leaders: in day-1 the Catalan è was affected by some technical problems to both bikes at his disposal, while in the next day he continued to suffer, by his own admission, the approach to the fastest corners.

It is his words after day-2, forò, that fuel the discussion among both fans and insiders themselves: "Right now I still ride the Ducati as if it were a Honda – are the words of the number 93 collected by 'La Gazzetta dello Sport' – and I am not fast enough to be able to think about the World Championship".

"The bike is going well and I feel comfortable – explained again the new Team Gresini rider -, but on me there are expectations are very high: there will be races in which he will finish tenth and will struggle to pass Q1, others in which he will struggle in front. I expected a similar situation, it was what happened in Valencia in the November tests that was not normal".

Marc Marquez, born in 1993, will race on the Ducati Desmosedici of Team Gresini in the 2024 MotoGp season. He will do so; after a decade in Honda and rainbow successes, in the premier class, achieved riding the Japanese bike in 2013, 2014 and from 2016 to 2019. Marquez also has a 125 title (2010) and a Moto2 World Championship (2012) to his credit.
