Not easy weather ahead of the races in Soldeu, so much so that the start of the women’s giant slalom tomorrow morning è has already been lowered by the jury and the skiing on the slope has been cancelled. There’è also some sleet to make matters worse and it looks like it may intensify in the coming days.

It will start at 10:30 a.m., with second heat at 1:30 p.m. Eight blue athletes will be at the start: Federica Brignone, Marta Bassino, Asja Zenere, Elisa Platino, Roberta Melesi, Ambra Pomaré, Lara Della Mea, Ilaria Ghisalberti.

“We did not ski the slope becauseé there’was fog – said Federica Brignone -. We just did some warm-up’ warm-up. I didn’t ski last week, I had a little bit of a break. I tried to detach my head, because I had accumulated too much nervousness. The snow here è a little sugary because it’ s hot, and there’s also very little of it. Last year I went out on the bump when I had the best time, but the giant slope è beautiful and I like it so much: è one of my favorites. I hope to have a good race”.
