FISI does not confirm the withdrawal of Giuliano Razzoli
The Italian Winter Sports Federation has dryly denied in a short statement the news published by some websites of Giuliano Razzoli’s retirement. Here is the text of the statement.
"Regarding some indiscretions appeared on some websites, The Italian Winter Sports Federation and Giuliano Razzoli communicate that the athlete intends to participate in the slalom of Kranjska Gora, in the full of his competitive potential. Subsequently, the Olympic champion will makeà his sporting future" known.
So we will have to wait until Saturday to know what Razzoli will doà Razzoli. Olympic slalom champion in 2010 in Vancouver, 39 years old, from Villa Minozzo in Emilia, has participated in 156 World Cup races so far since 2006, almost all of them in slalom, apart from a few parallel, winning two and finishing on the podium nine other times.
