Lazio can breathe a sigh of relief over Ivan Provedel's left ankle injury suffered in the final minutes of the match against Udinese. The goalkeeper of the biancocelesti, in fact, did not suffer any ankle injury. This was announced by the Capitoline club itself through a note released on its official website.
"The medical staff of S.S. Lazio announces that the footballer Ivan Provedel è underwent clinical and instrumental examinations at Paideia International Hospital. The examinations showed no skeletal fractures in the left ankle following the’important sprain injury sustained during yesterday" reads the statement of the biancoceleste club.
"The player has already started the specific treatment of the case and will be subjected to daily clinical and instrumental monitoring at Lazio Lab to quantify the recovery time" concludes the note issued by Lazio.
