The words of Neven Spahija

On Sunday March 17 at 5 p.m., Reyer Venezia returns to the court on the Taliercio parquet against the most titled team in Italy: Olimpia Milano, winner of 30 national titles, including the last two consecutive in 2021-23. The orogranatas come to the challenge with fourth place in the standings with 30 points (15-7) tied precisely with the red shoes that won the first leg game 95-72.

Coach Neven Spahija spoke this way in the press conference ahead of the game against the Milanese team: "&It was a very hard week, with a lot of analysis, as it happens after you lose a game that you should not have lost. But sports è soè. Against Sassari we played a very bad game in offense and defense, also because of the good preparation of Dinamo which è in a good moment".

"We played very badly, out of 10 players only 2 shot from the lunette and that says a lot about our level of activity – added the coach of the orogranata -. Obviously è our fault, not the referees, but the coach and players. We gave a bad image of us".

"It happens to everyone, but when it happens you have to react. This work week è has been very good and intense, with meetings, videos and workouts. Milan è a very very strong team, with a lot of team and individual quality. We, together with our supporters, want to do something more " Spahija closed.
