Sofyan Amrabat, Juventus tries again
The Juventus market
In March, there are many options on the table for Juventus, and every day a new possibility seems to emerge. While interest in Juventus’ Teun Koopmeiners remains alive, especially after his recent double against Szczesny, there are currently several names on the list of Giuntoli, the sporting director of the Bianconeri club. Some of these names are alternatives to the Dutchman, while others are more related to Adrien Rabiot's possible departure on a zero-parameter basis, as the player has postponed contract renewal discussions until the end of the season.
Among the names in the second category, according to Gazzetta dello Sport there's an "old" target of Giuntoli: Sofyan Amrabat. The 27-year-old Moroccan midfielder è moved on loan from Fiorentina to Manchester United last summer. However, the experience in England was not as positive as expected, with only 14 appearances and 634 minutes played in the Premier League. Amrabat is starting to feel homesick for Italy, while the Red Devils, in a phase of great change, seem to be unwilling to exercise the option for his redemption despite the investment made for the loan.
Barring any last-minute changes, è Amrabat is likely to return to Florence at the end of June, when his loan expires. However, he is not è destined to remain in the purple, as his contract with Fiorentina expires in 2025 and a farewell could be in the interest of both parties. Juventus, which already has a good relationship with Fiorentina, strengthened by Arthur’s loan, could consider Amrabat as a potential option.
