The Dutchman had been going to the points for 43 consecutive GPs

Verstappen è was forced to retire at the Australian GP. It seems impossible but è what è happened after four laps with the three-time World Champion forced to raise the white flag due to brake trouble. A withdrawal that clashes with the Red Bull-Verstappen duo. The Dutch star breaks a streak of nine GP wins in a row and 43 races in the points. An event, therefore, rather rare.

"Confirmed, there were brake problems. There'è been some overheating, the car was very difficult to drive. On the formation lap the car looked good, too bad it did not show.  The problem è was a blockage in the right rear brake", his words reported by Sky Sports.

Verstappen does not hide. For someone like him, who is used to dominating on the track, it must be complicated to watch others speed past him and go and enjoy the success: "It è never nice to retire, è difficult to digest. We knew it could happen and it è happened". Now itè will be up to Red Bull to make sure it doesnè t happen again. Next time, Verstappen might react very differently.
