Cesare Prandelli, clear ideas on Thiago Motta

The former technical commissioner of the Italian national soccer team, Cesare Prandelli, who spoke at the microphones of Kiss Kiss Napoli, also dwelt on Thiago Motta, who is doing so well at the helm of Bologna and who daily sees his name approached by top teams, not only Italian.

"He was already a coach on the field,” said the Brescian: he had a very quick vision of the game from the point of view of thinking, he had important timing and leadership, and Bologna plays with these concepts. The team develops a certain type of game with a unique mentality, and I am very happy with the work he is doing". 

After finishing his career as a player Thiago Motta embarked on his coaching career. His first significant experience as a coach è came with Genoa in 2019, an assignment that marked the beginning of his career coaching soccer teams.

He later took the reins of Spezia and è managed to achieve an important salvation, keeping the team in the top division. In 2022, è was appointed coach of Bologna, with which he is now è fighting for Champions League qualification.
