MotoGp: Ducati grooms Bagnaia and Marc Marquez

Ducati seeks to immediately defuse the controversy that erupted after the collision between Pecco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez cost them both the Portuguese Grand Prix, the second round of the MotoGp World Championship. The two rivals in the aftermath of the race did not send a message to each other, and the Italian manufacturer wanted to send  a warning to both.

"When things like this happen between Pecco and Marc we all get a bit’ hurt – Ducati boss Domenicali told Sky – Maybe two riders with their experience could have been a bit’ more’ careful".

"They both took a risk: Marc by re-entering more quickly and Pecco by trying to maintain position. They touched each other slowly, forò with that’inclination è it went like that. They are two great professionals, I understand them, but I do not justify them completely", è Domenicali’s lecture.

Ducati’s fear è that they could create rifts or even internal factions, especially after the arrival of Marc Marquez: "Having more bikes on the track è an advantage becauseé soé everyone grows and è our philosophy. We have invested well in the boys and they have already grown. Jorge challenged Pecco for the title last year, Enea did crazy races like today. The choice to have moreù options is not è simple, but from the’other è privileged"
