Juan Jesus bitter on social

Twenty-four hours after the decision of the Sports Judge to not sanction Francesco Acerbi after the events of Inter-Napoli last March 17, Juan Jesus expressed all his bitterness for what was ruled by the legal-sports authority in a long post published on his own social channels in sharing with the channels of the Neapolitan club.

Juan Jesus: "Sincerely disheartened"

"I have read several times, with great regret, the decision by which the Giudice Sportivo has found that there is no evidence that I was the victim of racist insults during the Inter-Napoli match last March 17: è an assessment that, while I respect it, I struggle to understand and leaves me with a great bitterness" wrote the Brazilian footballer.

"I am sincerely disheartened by the’outcome of a serious affair that I had the’only wrong to have handled 'like a gentleman', avoiding interrupting an important match with all the inconvenience it would have entailed for the spectators who were watching the match, and trusting that my attitude would be respected and taken, perhaps, as an example. Probably, after this decision, those in my situation will act quite differently to protect themselves and try to curb the shame of racism that, unfortunately, is struggling to disappear".

Napoli’s Brazilian still explains his position

"I do not feel in any way protected by this decision, which frets between having to admit that 'è proof of the offense'has definitely been reached and claiming that there would be no certainty of its discriminatory character, which, again according to the decision, only I and 'in good faith' I would have perceived" then explained Juan Jesus, who later reiterated his position regarding the words used during the on-field dialogue between him and Acerbi.

"Indeed, I do not understand whyé ever get so agitated that evening if it really was a 'simple offense' with respect to which Acerbi himself è felt compelled to apologize, the referee felt he had to inform Var, the match è was interrupted for over 1 minute and his teammates were scrambling to talk to me".

"I did not expect such an ending" says Juan Jesus

"I can’t explain whyé why, only the next day and in training camp with the national team, Acerbi began a reversal of his version of events and did not, instead, immediately deny, as soon as the game was over, what had actually happened. I did not expect such an ending which I fear – but I hope I am wrong – could set a serious precedent to justify certain behaviors after the fact. I sincerely hope that this, for me, sad affair can help the whole world of soccer to reflect on such a serious and urgent issue" concluded Juan Jesus.
