Italrugby women rely on experience
Twenty-four summoned for Ireland’s trip to the women’s Six Nations
Giovanni Raineri, technical commissioner of Italy women’s rugby, has announced the twenty-four athletes who will leave for Dublin for the match against Ireland, valid for the second day of the Guinness Women’s Six Nations, scheduled for Sunday, March 31, at 4 p.m. The match will take place at the RDS Arena, in the capital of the Republic of Ireland.
Objective of Italrugby women: redeem the 0-48 loss to England

The Italians, after playing and losing to England (48-0 the final result in favor of the Red Roses battleship), will therefore challenge the national team in green jersey, which lost 38-17 to France in Le Mans on the first day of the tournament. This will be Ireland's first home match in the 2024 Tournament.
The blue coach’s choices had to take into account the injuries suffered against the English: in fact, Nicole Mastrangelo, Michela Sillari, Giulia Cavina and Elisa Giordano will be absent from the first weekend of the Tournament. Raineri has summoned experienced athletes to try to redeem the Parma knockout: among the summoned players, in fact, only four have less than 10 caps, while nine have more than 40.
