Rounds-5 to define the last two semifinalists of the Superleague Scudetto playoffs were won by Monza and Milan, both away.

Vero Volleyball folded Lube Civitanova 3-1, 25-23 25-23 20-25 25-22 the set partials in favor of Massimo Eccheli’s Brianzoli, in whose ranks there were 22 points from Stephen Maar, for Gianlorenzo Blengini’s Marche team 19 points each from Aleksandar Nikolov and Marlon Yant Herrera.

Allianz, on the other hand, inflicted a dry 3-0 win on Gas Sales Bluenerg Piacenza in a’hour and a half of play, 25-21 25-21 25-22 the set partials, for Roberto Piazza’s team 18 points from Yuki Ishikawa and 16 from Ferre Reggers, for Andrea Anastasi’s team 14 from Yuri Romanò.

The semifinal picture will see Monza and reigning champions and regular season winners Itas Diatec Trentino facing each other, while Milan will face Sir Safety Perugia.
