Ferrari, Charles Leclerc vents harshly: "I silenced them"

Charles Leclerc, second in Sprint qualifying, responded to those who criticized him after his mistake during the first lap of free practice at the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver due to a spin suffered on the first lap è was forced to skip the rest of the session, and many people targeted him.

Leclerc è then managed to make up for it with some excellent qualifying, in which he finished second, well ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz, who was fifth. After practice, Leclerc did not hide a certain amount of annoyance: "There is a lot of talk, in this sport you only remember the’last race, and as soon as you have two bad qualifications and you don’t do a great job, people start talking".

"It's been nice to put this to bed right away, and now we have to work on consistency and maintain this level, keeping the tires in the right window as I have done in the past", continued Leclerc, who now focuses on the two upcoming races.

"Qualifying has been a weak point the last two weekends, although in China è it was slightly better, but we didn’t have the car to show those improvements. The weekend had started in a difficult way becauseé unfortunately I did one lap in free practice, so I had to approach qualifying by going full throttle right away. I have no idea about our race pace, I can hope to have a good Sprint and have a very good pace for Sunday".
