Jannik Sinner: first rumors from the J-Medical

Jannik Sinner began Saturday his rehabilitation at J-Medical to recover from the hip injury that forced him to forfeit Madrid and not participate in the Rome Internationals. According to a report in La Gazzetta dello Sport, the world number two tennis player underwent some examinations that reportedly gave positive signs for the South Tyrolean athlete.

Optimism therefore filters in from Turin: the tests would mainly indicate a problem of a traumatic nature, and there would be no other congenital causes or other pathologies. Sinner, under the control of specialists, will now carry out some physiotherapy sessions, with the goal of being there at Roland Garros.

L'Azzurro, however, remains of his mind: if he is not completely cured, or if there are signs of a possible worsening, he will skip the Paris Slam and devote himself to full recovery ahead of Wimbledon.

In case of a forfeit in Paris Sinner could start the season directly on the grass in Halle, Germany, before the London Slam.
