Ducati, Pecco Bagnaia shaken: "It took me an hour to understand…"

Ducati centaur Pecco Bagnaia did not hide his great disappointment at his fall in the sprint race of the Catalan Grand Prix when he was just a few corners away from victory. A very heavy zero for morale but also for the ranking of the world champion, who now finds himself -44 points behind world leader Jorge Martin.

"I waited for an’hour in the box to analyze everything. When you can’t quite understand why’ve crashed è it’s important to analyze everything. It seems that a’slower entry with the same braking can make you fall. Normally, in normal conditions, it can’t happen, but here the grip level è a disaster so it can’happen", are the words of Bagnaia.

"We have to analyze and understand to be more careful about this situation for tomorrow. The race è longer, hotter and è important to get to the finish line. It has now been three races in a row where we have been really strong for the sprint race but have not finished because of problems or crashes. Today we missed another great opportunity’".

"I was the fastest, I was in the lead, I was turning well and it was not enough – continued Bagnaia, who cannot give himself peace -. We have to take the positive aspects of today, which are many. But it will be important to get to the bottom. I seem to have problems here finishing races, but it will be important to do so. I was 100 percent focused and I know how to win".
