MotoGP Catalonia: Pecco Bagnaia falls on the più beautiful, the Sprint Race goes to Aleix Espargaró

Flocks of falls in the Sprint Race of the Grand Prix of Catalonia: in the end the decisive one è of the world champion Pecco Bagnaia, who goes down on the last lap, giving the victory to Aleix Espargaró, who started from pole position, and thus repeats; the success obtained last year at Montmelò.

Also falling were Raul Fernandez, riding the Trackhouse Aprilia, who went down after five laps while in the lead, and, two laps later, Brad Binder (KTM), also while in the lead. Completing the podium was a resounding Marc Marquez, who climbed from 14th position and overtook Bagnaia in the overall standings, and Pedro Acosta.

In fourth place was the Ducati Pramac of Jorge Martin, then two other Ducatis: that of Enea Bastianini, fifth, and that of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team of Fabio Di Giannantonio. Seventh place for the KTM of Jack Miller, ahead of the Aprilia of Maverick Viñales. Closing the top 10 are the other Ducati VR46 of Marco Bezzecchi and the Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo.
