It's been a difficult Friday for the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team at Mugello: the veteran of the association founded by Valentino Rossi, Marco Bezzecchi, in fact ended the free practice in fourteenth place, while Fabio Di Giannantonio did slightly better, stopping however at the twelfth box.

Commenting on the performance on the Scarperia and San Piero track, Di Giannantonio explained the work done and the work to be done on his Ducati Desmosedici GP23: "We are missing a little something, especially on the time attack – said the Roman rider -, but we did a good job".

"This morning we immediately had a good pace: in the final session, with the tire change, the leading positions were reversed, but the feelings were good. In the afternoon, with the medium, I was competitive, then with the soft I struggled more. We need a step in the middle of the corner to hit the’Q2" objective.

Di Giannantonio, born in 1998 like his teammate, è in his first season in the VR46 team, which he joined after Luca Marini's farewell at the end of last season to Honda. His best results so far have come in Catalonia, in the weekend preceding that of the Italian GP: sixth in the Sprint, fifth in the Sunday GP.
