Joel Pohjanpalo wins Pablito Serie B award

Venezia striker Joel Pohjanpalo wins the Pablito Award, an award reserved for the best scorer in Serie BKT and named in memory of the unforgettable Paolo Rossi. After the two MVP of the month awards won in February and March, the Laguna striker drops his third trophy of the season, during a year in which he proved to be a fundamental offensive terminal of his team.

Arriving in Venice in August 2022, he scored an impressive 19 goals in his first Italian season, finishing second in the goalscoring charts. Numbers he improves during the current season, reaching 22 in the regular season.

Pohjanpalo will be honored by Lega B president Mauro Balata during Venezia-Cremonese, a match valid for the final playoff return leg during the pre-match ceremonial.
