Daniil Medvedev bets on Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz

After his elimination in the round of 16 at Roland Garros with Australia's Alex De Minaur, Daniil Medvedev, in a press conference, was unbalanced regarding the favorites to the final victory at the Paris Slam, which still has all the top 4 in the ATP Ranking, Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev in the running.
"I think Djokovic is in enough pain with his leg, so I don’t know if he will be able to play the quarterfinals. Right now, taking into account that Novak is not è 100 percent, I would say Alcaraz and Sinner are the favorites to win the final, because theyè are playing very well. Jannik had a tough day with Moutet, but he è bounced back great. Both have already won a Slam, have experience and are world number two and three respectively, so they are the mostù accredited" began the Russian tennis player.
"De Minaur è improved a lot in every aspect and now è can beat anyone. He has defeated players of the caliber of Nole and Nadal, forò now we have to see if he is ready to do it week by week to become number 1,2 or 3 in the world. I think he is close because heè è is a high level tennis player. We will see what he'll be able to do in the quarterfinals against Zverev" added the world number five about the Australian.
"I had a blister and that certainly did not help. Alex however played better. I am sorry I lost, but I have nothing to reproach myself for not having a good attitude today or not fighting until the end. I gave my best, but he è was simply superior" concluded Daniil Medvedev.
