Novak Djokovic after the news of the officialdom of his withdrawal from Roland Garros which also cost him the number one Atp ranking in favor of Jannik Sinner shed light on his physical condition through a post on his official Instagam profile.

"I am really sorry to have to announce my retirement from Roland Garros. I played my heart out and gave my all in yesterday’s match and unfortunately, due to a torn medial meniscus in my right knee, my team and I had to make a difficult decision after a’careful evaluation and consultation".
