Carlos Alcaraz has only words of praise for Jannik Sinner

Carlos Alcaraz is preparing for the Roland Garros semifinals in which he will meet new world No. 1 Jannik Sinner. Here are his words in the press conference on the eve of the challenge: "Facing him now è one of the most difficult challenges. He does everything well and you already know that you will have to run a marathon. But it’s the challenges I love: the comparison with Jannik pushes me to work to grow further".

"It" will be a really complicated challenge – continued the 21-year-old Murcian -. Today è the best tennis player in the world or the one who is playing the best tennis of all. We have played some great matches in the past, at very high levels, and I am honored to have such a player in the circuit. Comparison with him pushes me to grow every day, to always give 100 percent, to be a better tennis player, to wake up every morning with the desire to improve my tennis to be able to beat him.

“I love watching him play and I am ready to face this challenge. È the match that everyone wants to see, ever since the scoreboard came out and it became clear that we could face each other in the semifinals. We have played great matches in the past and this one will be interesting as well. I am sure Jannik will play his best tennis and I hope we can do the same".

"The"approach to a meeting with Sinner is notè the same as any other. I am not going to lie, certainly on my part there will be è more nervousness, because è currently è one of the most difficult challenges ever, as it also says the ranking that will see him become number one”.

“Jannik has no weaknesses, everything he does he does well: he hits the ball unbelievably well, he moves very well and can push you to the limit in every single point. È a very tough opponent to face. I love looking for solutions, I love having to find ways to get him in trouble. Like I managed to do this year in Indian Wells, after losing the first set 6-1”, concluded Alcaraz.
