Igor Tudor-Lazio: it’s a breakup
Igor Tudor leaves Lazio
Not even three months lasted Igor Tudor's adventure on the Lazio bench. According to reports from Sky Sport, in fact, the Croatian coach will leave the biancoceleste club due to disagreements on the market ahead of next season.
The Capitoline club and Anthony Seric, Tudor’s attorney, are working in these hours for the termination of the contract, which the former coach of Udinese and Veronatra others, signed last March and expires on June 30, 2025, with a salary of about 2.5 million euros per season.
In his short time at Lazio Tudor è however, he managed to hit the target, qualifying the biancoceleste club for the next Europa League, averaging two points per match in the league. However, the derby defeat to Roma and elimination in the Coppa Italia against Juventus in the semifinals should also be remembered.
Now Lazio will go hunting for Tudor’s replacement: in pole is Marco Baroni, author of a miraculous salvation with Hellas Verona last season. Another name that the Biancoceleste management likes is Miroslav Klose, who knows the environment very well, having played for five years in Lazio.
