Reinforcement in the backcourt for Pistoia

Michael Forrest è a new player for Estra Pistoia Basket: the American point guard, class of 1999, has signed a one-year deal with the red and white club, whose backcourt he goes to strengthen. He is a "lightweight" (185 cm for 79 kg) playmaker, who showed good things in NCAA college tournaments with the Florida Atlantic Owls uniform.

Estra Pistoia enters the 2024/25 season on the strength of a brilliant year as a newly promoted team, in which it reached both the Final Eight of the Italian Cup (defeated in the quarterfinals against Reyer Venezia) and the playoffs scudetto, thanks to the sixth place in the regular season: the biancorossi then surrendered in front of Brescia, winner of the quarterfinal series in three games.
