Milan, not just Joshua Zirkzee: blitz ready for new right-back
Milan on Matty Cash
Milan, while waiting for the official opening of the summer soccer market session, is reportedly already working to define the first shots to strengthen the squad for next season. For several days, the hottest topic for the Rossoneri è that related to Joshua Zirkzee, for whom there would have been a clear acceleration in the last hours. However, the Milanese club would also be working under the radar for reinforcement on the defense exteriors.
According to reports from "Sky Sport" in fact, Geoffrey Moncada had a meeting in London with Aston Villa to discuss a possible transfer to Italy by Matty Cash, a Polish right-back born in 1997. The English club values the player at around 25 million euros, so they may be forced to sell him at a lower price so as to comply with the Premier League’s internal FPF constraints.
In addition to the former Nottingham Forrest man, Milan is reportedly back to closely monitoring the situation related to Chelsea’s Armando Broja. Should the right conditions be met, the Milanese club could decide to sink the blow for the young Albanian striker, who would fill the role of potential deputy Zirkzee in place of Jovic.
As for Bologna’s Dutch center forward, negotiations would now be advanced and the main obstacle to the final white smoke would be related to the high fees demanded by the player’s agent (around 15 million euros). New contacts would be expected in the next few days, as Milan's priority would be to close the deal as quickly as possible, so as to avoid the dense competition.
