Nadia Battocletti capped off a triumphant day for Italy at the 2024 European Athletics Championships, triumphing by force in the 5,000 meters with an extraordinary time of 14:35.29, beating the national record (14:41.12) by six seconds and the overall European Championships record (14:46.12) by eleven.
