The words of Jasmine Paolini

Despite their defeat in two sets in the women’s doubles final at Roland Garros, Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini do not lose their smiles in front of the audience and the winners, Coco Gauff and Katerina Siniakova, aware that they have given two weeks of tennis of the highest level and kept the name of Italian women’s tennis high.

"Thank you Sara, è it is a pleasure and a privilege to play with you, I love you – said Jasmine Paolini – Today closes two really intense weeks, full of emotions, in which I created so many memories. I can&#39t wait to come back here, è one of the most beautiful places in the world for a tennis player. See you next year" she then concluded, before being 'corrected' by her doubles partner.

"See you again in a month, we have a dream,” Sara Errani said in fact, without hiding too much, on the sidelines of the award ceremony. “It would be really special to play the Olympic tournament here. For me è it&#39s already beautiful to play here, this year I also made the qualifiers and in doubles, with Jasmine, playing è really fun".

Jasmine Paolini’s è was a Roland Garros to remember, in which she reached the final in both singles (defeat against WTA No. 1 Iga Swiatek) and doubles (today’s knockout). For Errani, however, the singles tournament had ended after the second round: coming from the qualifiers, the veteran Italian è exited against the American Navarro.
