Italvolley, it’s done for Olympic qualification
Italvolleyball at the Olympics
There was little doubt but now it's done: Italvolley has qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics. It's started in fact on the right foot the week 3 of Volleyball Nations League of the Azzurri. At the West Japan General Exhibition in Fukuoka, Italy beat Canada with a dry 3-0 (25-16; 25-15; 25-14).
Great match the one played by Danesi and her teammates who imposed rhythm and play without conceding anything to the North Americans in what could represent the pivotal challenge of the Azzurri summer with the position in the world ranking more and more secured and the increasingly concrete prospect of playing the last act of Volleyball Nations League.
For CT Julio Velasco’s girls will now have two days off to devote to work between the weight room and the court to prepare in the best possible way for the challenges that will close the VNL intercontinental phase with South Korea (June 14 at 12:20 p.m. Italian), the United States (June 15 at 8:30 a.m. Italian), and Serbia (June 16 at 8:00 a.m. Italian).
