After her triumph in the 5000 meters, Nadia Battocletti è repeated herself in the 10000 meters. The Italian athlete, in fact, finished the trial in 30:51.32, also breaking the historic Italian record set by Maura Viceconte a good 24 years ago in Heusden in 31:05.57.
Behind the Italian came the Dutch Diane Van Es (30:57.24) and Britain's Megan Keith (31:04.77). Good performances also for Federica Del Buono and Elisa Palmero, who finished fourth and sixth, respectively.
