Lionel Messi sheds light on his future

Lionel Messi believes that Inter Miami is the club where he will close his playing career, but he has no plans to leave right away.

The Argentine, who has a contract with the Mls championship team until 2025, said this in an interview with ESPN: "Sì to date I think it will be my last club, but I am not ready to leave soccer".

"&It was a difficult step to leave Europe to come here,” Messi said again. “The fact that I became world champion also helped a lot to see things differently".

Certainly, his arrival in the US has increased interest in soccer and the league: games sell out wherever he plays and his jersey è by far the most sold.

Messi now ponders playing in the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States along with Mexico and Canada, and is contemplating the end of his incredible career.

"I have been doing this all my life and I love playing soccer. I enjoy the daily practice, the games, being with teammates. I'm a little afraid that this will end and I know I&#39ll miss it when I don&#39t play anymore.
